ABOUT JESSICAJessica Wilson is a credentialed teacher with over 17 years of experience teaching reading and writing to students in kindergarten through 8th grade. She has worked as an Elementary School Teacher, Literacy Specialist, and Intervention Teacher in both elementary and middle school.
PHILOSOPHYJessica believes that a strong foundation in phonemic awareness and phonics creates successful readers. Reading needs to be explicitly taught and practiced frequently in order for children to flourish.
SERVICESTutoring sessions - $30/hour. Sessions are scheduled monthly. Make-up sessions are allowed when cancelled within 24 hours. No contracts.
